Τhe Oxford University Society Cyprus, according to its constitution held its elections for a new committee on the 3rd of September 2023 at 7.30pm.

The new committee which will serve for two years is the following:

The Christmas season is upon us and we have been busy organising a grand event for you (which unless I am mistaken, has not been done before!). To make this work with have joined forces with the Cambridge Cypriot Alumni Society to create this joint event.


Alumni, their plus ones, friends of alumni, and current Oxford students are most welcome to join! 


To further pique your curiosity;
–  a Christmassy buffet, including many festive dishes and desserts will be served.
–  a D.J. will provide music for all ages, to enable everybody to dance the night away.
– Casino games will be on, where everyone will be provided with free chips to gamble with, which at the end of the evening, can be exchanged for fantastic prizes!

The OUSC would like to invite any alumni to our annual Freshers’ event in Cyprus which will be held at 7 pm on Friday 16th of September 2022, at Moat Cafe (Eleftheria’s Square) in Nicosia.

Now established as an annual event where Alumni can catch up among themselves, share silly stories, impart their wisdom to the younger generation, or simply remember the good-old Oxford times of going out with like-minded individuals and making new friends along the way from other colleges and departments!

The Alumni & Freshers mix event was a total success! Faces, new and old, created the perfect mixture experiment for catching up with other alumni, and I am sure it made new students aim high and be bold on their Oxford journey. Should be a definite repeat for next year!
